CHARACTER SHEET: A two-page (or double sided) character sheet done up in the style on the ‘verse.

MANDARIN GUIDE: A one-page summary of a few ... choice Mandarin phrases, grouped by category or emotion. Not a substitute for the full list of phrases in the book, but it’s enough to get you started, and easier to use.

TECHNOBABBLE 101: Joshua Pawlicky’s very thorough guide to how that engine works. Not necessary for gameplay, but fun in the hands of the right mechanic.

SHIP TROUBLE TABLES: This is a fun set of four tables to roll on to simulate real ship troubles and their effects. I heartily recommend it, while my players hate it! Includes a description of what went wrong, how to fix it and how long it’ll take.

RULE SUMMARY: A quick guide for new players on the basic mechanics of the game and combat actions.

PRINT YOUR OWN MONEY: Because it’s a lot more fun to peel Alliance credits off a roll than scrawling it on a character sheet. This is one of my characters’ favorite parts of the game. There’s something gratifying about getting a pile of this for a job well done.

(For best results, print on both sides at 94% and trim along light gray guide lines and not on image edge.)

HEY, WHAT HAPPENED TO TALL CARD? A lot of people have reminded me that the game is incomplete. I’ve removed it until I fix the deck and add some rules. Be patient!

more useful? Drop me a note, and I’ll update it in the next round!

COMBAT SUMMARY: A one-page player resource to attempt to explain the rules of conflict in the Cortex system. A great thing to project on a wall as a handy reference guide! Note: This may have some house rules in it; I try to weed them out before putting them up, but, hey.
